Abstract:

EGI-InSPIRE has included a Gender Action Plan in its deliverables and is committed to working towards gender equality in its spheres of influence. This document outlines the activities and strategies that will be used during the projects to achieve its goals in these areas. The document provides an introduction to the EGI-InSPIRE GAP taskforce and includes details of the ideas and plans proposed to support and create gender awareness during the project. It also lists and describes the channels of dissemination for messages promoting gender equality and also prescribes specific actions to reinforce this.
