- ENES data space will deliver a single entry point to an open and cloud-enabled data science environment for climate data analysis on top of the EOSC Compute Platform implemented in the project. The service brings a data science environment to the end users. It operates on top of the ENES Climate Analytics Service (ECAS), which is one of the EOSC-Hub Thematic Services to deliver compute and analytics capabilities to the end users. Compute capacity will be allocated on demand by the EGI-ACE IM/EC3 tool. In addition to that, it will include synda, a community tool for data transfer and synchronization, which will be used to set up the climate data archive to be hosted in the ENES data space. Data collections will be shared via EGI DataHub. A JupyterLab front-end will provide the proper (from a data science perspective) entry point to such an environment, which will be enriched with a wide set of open source scientific Python libraries. The service will provide access to (open) data from the ESGF federated data archive related to large community projects like CMIP6.
