Abstract:

EGI AppDB team created a document describing how this service implemented a resilient scheme in order to improve QoS. It is a technical document (sys admin level) about how three components (Postgres, DRDB, Heartbeat) were coupled to increase the resilience of AppDB in case there's a failure in the main server providing the service.
